NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT

In order to book an appointment, you will be required to leave a deposit. Amount varies according to my rate or the fixed amount that was presented to you.

Deposits will be applied towards the final cost of your tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be held until the final session, unless your deposit is forfeited.

**Deposits are forfeited if you no-show for an appointment, cancel with less than 48 hours advance notice, reschedule more than twice, arrive for an appointment more than 30 minutes late, arrive for an appointment without proper ID or arrive intoxicated or otherwise unable to be tattooed, request excessive or last minute changes to the design or concept, do not complete your tattoo within one year, or decide not to get tattooed at all.

An appointment can be rescheduled no later than 6 months after the initial deposit. If the appointment is not rescheduled by then, the deposit is automatically forfeited.

If you forfeit a deposit, you may be required to leave a new deposit before booking any new appointment(s). Deposits may not be transferred to another person.

TATTOO DESIGN

Your tattoo design will be based on the information and reference material that you sent to the artist before booking the appointment and will NOT be an exact replication as artists provide original artwork.

I will not email, text, or preview a custom design for your review until your scheduled appointment (unless I consider it necessary). Any revisions that stay within the idea discussed at the consultation can be made on the day of your appointment. If you change your idea, size, placement, concept, etc and major or excessive revisions are required, your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment will need to be rescheduled and a new deposit may be required.

I do not undertake offensive / racist tattoos.

EMERGENCY CANCELLATION

I am usually lenient in the event of an emergency, but refund of deposit/rescheduling is solely at the discretion of the artist. In the event of rescheduling, your appointment may be postponed to the first available date at a time that is convenient for both the artist and the client without passing 3 months from the deposit, otherwise you will lose your deposit.

If I consider that stopping your session and scheduling a second one is the best thing to do at the moment (client's pain tolerance, limited time, resizing the design), the second session can be scheduled only for the next day or after the tattoo has completely healed. If you live out of town, please keep this in mind when making an appointment. Make sure you have no planned vacation (involving swimming and sunbathing) for at least 4 weeks after your appointment.

Occasionally, due to circumstances, I may fall behind schedule. This can be caused by a number of uncontrollable issues. If you have a tight schedule, I highly recommend that you let me know in advance.

COURTESY TOUCH UP

A courtesy touch-up can ONLY be performed if recommended aftercare is followed, once fully healed (usually after 4 weeks) and if scheduled within 6 months of completing your tattoo. With the exception of non-guaranteed body parts (fingers, hands, feet, ears, head, face, inner lips, etc.) or if you have any skin condition that may affect the tattoo and/or healing process. Any other exceptions are solely at the discretion of the artist and will be informed in advance. If clients would like those particular tattoos to be touched-up, I will gladly do so, but at the normal rate of the original tattoo. Further touch-ups or alterations will require additional fees.

**Although no deposit is required for your courtesy touch-up, you may lose your appointment if you do not follow the NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT policy explained above. See a courtesy touch up as a regular tattoo appointment. If you lose your courtesy touch up appointment, you will need to reschedule and pay the artists' hourly rate/set amount for your touch-up.

REFUND POLICY

NO REFUNDS for any reason. In the unlikely event of a mistake it is my duty as an artist to fix it for free. There is always something we can do. Please contact me as soon as possible to allow me to find the best & quickest solution.

BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE TATTOO

Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours prior your tattoo appointment. If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs I will ask you to leave and the deposit will be forfeited.

Avoid tanning and tanning beds, or any activity that may alter the regular condition of your skin.

Get a good night's sleep prior to your appointment.

Make sure to eat before your appointment and stay hydrated during the appointment.

Avoid caffeine or energy drinks before coming in. It will thin your blood and make you less likely to sit still.

The healthier you are before your session, the easier it will be for you and the artist to complete your session.

A release form will be provided for you the day of your appointment, this will ask you if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs of any kind or pregnant. These are the main reasons for a tattoo to be refused. By signing this release form you have legally signed to say you don’t have any problems regarding your health.

If you have any type of skin condition or scarring, a doctor's note confirming that tattooing is not dangerous to your health will be required.

Cell phones of any kind must be shut off or put on silent before entering the studio. Cell phone conversations while getting a tattoo are not allowed. If there is an emergency,  just let me know you need a phone break.

If you’d like to listen to music/watch videos on your phone/iPod during your appointment, please remember to bring headphones so you don't distract the artist.

No photo/video recording without permission.

Remember to wear/bring appropriate clothing to your tattoo appointment (shorts, sweatpants, beaters, etc) so that the area being tattooed is easily accessible to the artist.

Only the person getting the tattoo will be allowed In the tattoo area. Strictly no friends, kids or pets. Only well trained service dogs will be allowed in the waiting area, not in the tattooing area for sanitary reasons. Please let your artist know in advance.

Artist is not responsible for the outcome after the tattoo is fully healed if the client didn't follow the aftercare instructions

If any alterations are done to the original tattoo by the other tattooer, the artist is no longer responsible for any touch-ups or continuing that project.

Communication is important. If you have any questions before, during, or after your tattoo, feel free to let me know thru my email or Instagram, I will gladly assist you.
